Dale Hall has played drums for many years and over that time found the drums became part of him. This in turn inspired the stories of Beat, the Bass Drum. Dale’s experiences give an insight into some of the unique situations that often arise whilst performing which adds to the in-depth level of detail that can be found in the stories.
Dale is a great ambassador for music and is very passionate about encouraging young children to take up lessons. Having performed on television drumming for popular artists he is aware of the importance of having a good teacher to encourage you even when you’re making slow progress but still feels luck is the most important ingredient in life.
Dale often feels that the drums he plays are alive as if they are playing through him and enhancing his abilities far more than he could have imagined, with monkey nuts (drum tuning keys & stand nuts with minds of their own) loosening stands causing them to slip just to keep him on his toes.
